Do you think I can be fired for this?

I am a checkout lady at the grocery store. I can read people very well. The other day this lady and her teenaged son were checking out, and there was something weird about him. So when they were leaving, I mumbled "good luck in prison" to him. Him and his mom got all mad. Now tomorrow I'm meeting with the manager about it. Can they fire me for this?
