 Can a future employer find out I was fired, and if I am honest will it hurt my... ...chances of getting the job? I was let go due to breaking a company policy which I was unaware of. I was able to collect unemployment because the employer was found to not have just cause for discharge.      |

| When a future employer calls your previous employer for a reference they CANNOT discuss why you were let go. All they can ask is to verify dates you worked there and if they would rehire you or not. GOOD LUCK!!!!!! |
