Should those college students be sued for the fire in Montecito? Apparently, they had a bonfire party at the tea house in Montecito and neglected to put the fire out, even if they say that they did. so the fire broke out into a wildfire when winds swept in Thursday afternoon.

Even as the news report that they did not do this on malicious intention. They should still be charged with negligence for causing millions of damages and injures involved. If they don't get charged for that, then why do people get charged for DUI or child neglect?

If i drop a cig on your carpet that i thought i had gotten it off and it burned your house down, would you sue me for it?
Plus the damages are not only to the rich and famous, as the media like to portray, but over 100 houses with different household of different incomes. |
