| I was recently laid off and I've been emailing my resume to potential employers. Today I was contacted via email by someone willing to set a time and date for an interview. I told them that since I was recently laid off I had just started looking for a job and therefore I am available at their earliest convenience. Do you think I made a mistake telling them that I was laid off before the interview? Is it possible that they think I was fired or laid off because I wasn't valuable enough? Should I send a second email trying to explain? Thank you for your help. |
