 Laid off 8 months pregnant - what do I do? Need help!? I'm 8 months pregnant and one month away from going on Maternity Leave. I was laid off today and offered a mediocore severance package. I feel I am the victim of discrimination because of my pregnancy. To prove it, a coworker of mine (male) was just recently hired and he was not laid off. It just doesn't make sense. Can I sue? Do I have a case? Any help would be appreciated!!      |
