continuing to make a profit? Why do you feel the way you do? State your reasons please.

Think of a corporation as your own convenient store. Would you rather "lose" money and keep a long-time employee whom has been working for you for 20 years? Or would you rather lay that employee off and make some money for your store (or for you, in this case)?

You might choose to keep the employee and continue to "loose" money months after months because you don't have the heart to let the person go.

But let's say it gets to the point that you either start making money or you have to close down your store for good.

Now, is it justified that you continue to make money while laying off employee?
