Default can you file for unemployment if you are fired within your two week notice period?

i put my two week notice in, and a week after i was fired. can i file for unemployment?

I would think it would make it easier to file. You are no longer employed through no fault of your own as opposed to quiting which would be your fault you're no longer employed.
