Laid-off CompUSA employee - How do I recover a bounced paycheck??

I am a former employee of the Greenville, SC CompUSA, which recently closed, and all employees were laid-off. I just found out that my final paycheck (although it's only for 1 day of work) has bounced due to insufficient funds. I don't think CompUSA's corporate headquarters are still existent. I tried emailing customer service through the website, but have no response. Anybody have any ideas? It's not a ton of money, but it is still money that they owe me. My bank also charged me a fee for the bounced check.

Depending on the size on the paycheck Small Claims Court since no lawyer will help since there is no money to be made nor will they get publicity.

I still can't believe that CompUSA went out of business. There are none in California especially Woodland Hills.
