My boss must hate me.. he always tries to make me look stupid!!!?

I'm a smart person. I hate it when people talk down to me and try to make me feel ridiculous. I've worked in my position for 7 months and recently graduated from college. That doesn't mean I'm an idiot. My boss, however, loves to single me out and make sure everyone thinks I'm an idiot. He'll disagree with anything I say. He sends out mass emails to the department hinting around about things I've "done wrong." It's embarrassing for me. I don't know how to fix the situation. This guy has ZERO personality and talks incessantly about himself just to hear himself talk. Is there anything I can do or should I just grin and bear it? I'm currently looking for other work.. oh and he excludes me from ALL meetings.. even if they directly relate to my position.

It is called discrimination. Now you can't say, "he said, she said". If he is really doing this stuff. Save the E-mails (on paper), document all meetings you are excluded from. Carry a pocket recorder, and catch him demeaning you. Then go to personnel and file a complaint against him.

I have a similar situation here where I work. The only advice I can give is to look for something better. In the meantime just know that for whatever reason there are people who have to put others down to make themselves look better. Good Luck to you on finding something better.

I'd keep looking for another job. I mean, in any job, there's bound to be at least one disagreeable person, but if it's your BOSS doing things like this, I'd try to get away. No offense to him, but he sounds like a total @*# hole.

Talk to him one on one. Be polite and professional but firm. Let him know how it makes you feel. If he doesn't respect you, look for employment elsewhere.
