Default I've been receiving lewd phone calls at work, what should I do?

Some man has called me 3 different times (same person for sure 2 of the 3) and has asked me to perform sexual favors for him. I am appalled and sickened by it. The thing is, I work as a night auditor at a hotel and I'm at work by myself for 8 hours. I feel very uncomfortable at work now. I've notified the manager, but he hasn't spoken with me about it yet. What should I do?

notify the police and tell them you are being sexually harassed. *69 the piece of crap and hope his wife picks up. either one of these would work.

Your caller is getting his kicks with your response. He enjoys your discomfort. As soon as the call veers into an inappropriate area, hang up quickly, with no verbal response at all. I predict that the calls will stop when your response becomes unsatisfying to the caller.
Good luck.

i also work the night shift at a hotel.. make sure you can lock the doors..

can you *69 on your phone to see where the calls are coming from..?

Just keep hanging up on the caller , they will get the point and stop calling.. more then likely they are just sick and a perv..

if you have an employee handbook, check it out for a listing regarding harassment.

if you don't hear from your boss soon, write him a letter, keep a copy and sign it. Give him that. (don't make threats like "I'm going to the cops" or "I will quit" or "I will get a lawyer".... you CAN do any of those, just don't threaten to)

try to get a recording of a call. Radio Shack sells a handset mic with a suction cup for your phone.
