Default Would this schedule work for a college student?

Okay how many classes per semester does a college student take in one semester? I think it's four, not sure. If so would this schedule work.
Mon- Work 9a-5p. 4hrs of study (give or take a little), 4hrs of leisure and 8hrs of sleep.
Tues & Thurs- 3(2hr) classes 9a-4p 2hr break Class 6p-8p. Study 3hrs. Leisure 1hr. Sleep 8hrs.
Wed equals Monday schedule
Fri & Sat- Work 9-5. Volunteer 6-8. Study 3-4hrs No partying. Sleep 6hrs and 2hrs of leisure
Sun- Work 9-5, Leisure 1hr, Church 7p-9p. Study 3hrs. Sleep 8
and the cycle starts over again. I might try to work a little less then volunteer more at a hospital and as a teacher. But I could try to work at a hospital. Do you think that working full time is bad while in college? I would really not want to want full time probably part time would be best, then I'd have more time to do things

How much time should I be devoting to studying each night. Say if I had a major project or exam, then I might stay up till 2am (6hrs sleep is good right?)

Of courses it depends on the classes your taking. Is this your first semester of college? If it is I would suggest you lighten your load somewhere, because you may think I can take this one and that one, but the classes are designed to require 6 hours of study per week per class. Now not each class requires that much study time and if you go to one class twice aweek you can bet you will require the 6 hours of study time. You need to get plenty of rest, I would suggest asking professors if you can record the lectures for later reference. Some classes you can get away with very little study and still pull a C to move on in your academic field, but others will require lots of study time...use the recorder if its allowed.

You asked this in the Religion and Spirituality section.

Why not try the Education section?
