| I'm getting ready to go out interviewing for an office job, I will be wearing a skirt suit for my interviews (pants are not an option). I have two dragonfly tattoos on my left calf, they will be visible. Should I hide them (if so, how do I hide them?) and worry about my employer's reaction after I am hired, or should I let them be seen to not blindside the prospective employer? I will be working with the public on a professional basis, though my profession is rather liberal some bosses are not. Removing the tattoos is *not* an option. I also have other tattoos that are more easily hidden. It's not a "cute" mini-skirt or fashion skirt, it is a professional business suit with a pencil skirt. | Its illegal for someone not to hire you because you have tattoos. But i would recommend you DO NOT go to a interview in a skirt. That doesnt seem very proffesional no matter how *Cute* it is LOL i hope i dont sound mean and if i did i wasnt trying to lol GOOD LUCK |

In my opinion I would hide them just because sometimes people can be very judgemental during job interviews. Try some consealer or foundation and some stockings. I don't think you should worry much if you get hired, because once they get to know you they will have no reason to judge you for your tatoos. Best of luck during your interview!! Hope I helped ![]()

Although your dragonflies I'm sure look very nice I would cover them going in for a interview. Try a skin color band aid & hose. Even if the future employer notices they will understand that you would like to make a good impression. Ask for their comments on tattoos at the end of the interview.

Definitely hide them for the interview, but unless after you're hired you see others with visible tattoos I suggest you continue hiding them for work as well. I've read around and what you can do is use very thick stage makeup to cover the tattoos. I suggest Ben Nye. You could also try very thick opaque stockings. Good luck!

You should conceal them. There's a lot more chance that people will make judgments about you if you don't. By and large, if you want to be in a professional career, you should not have any tattoos that are not concealable by clothing.
