how should I deal with this problem at my job?

I work for a security company which contracted to the electric and gas company for nj basically what i have to do is ride around with a field collector while he disconnects ppl gas and electricity but heres the problem the field collector works from 7am- 3pm i work from 7am - 2pmthe company is basically forcing us to work a extra free hour this is sumthin i just started experiencing and i pretty sure its some type law against this
