your company should give you a P45 - its 3 pieces of paper that will state the earning you have made to date and the tax you have paid. One of these pieces will be kept for your own reference and the other two will be given to your new employer.

your employer now will see that you receive your P45 which in turn you have to give to you new employer - this tells them what tax you pay etc. Dont take anything that is not yours to take
